I’m a mom to 3 fabulous punk kids and the wife to an amazing husband and father.  This blog was started to keep our friends and family updated when we entered an unknown world to us…the birth defect Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.  It chronicled our diagnosis, our search for care, her journey when she arrived, and finally, our day to day life. It was also my therapy and an unimaginable source of strength for our family.  The followers of this blog lifted us up in ways I never thought possible; the power was palable and a true factor is why our girl lived and our family remained strong though it all.
