I’ve let this go for many reasons, none of which are important right now so I’m not going there. Bottom line, some people have worked hard to make a day for CDH Awareness, today is it. I’ve gone "turquoise" (sort of) in honor of it. The State of Texas has officially proclaimed it along with several others, over 30 I think. If you’re here, you know something about CDH. If you’ve been here long, you know a lot. Share it today with someone who may not, especially if they are pregnant and haven’t had their 20 week sonogram yet. I can’t imagine being surprised with this defect, it’s just too much. Having a team and knowing a little of what you’ve got ahead of you can help SO much.
Read K’s post here, it’s perfect. She’s been saying everything so well lately, I think I want her to start ghost writing over here! I love the friends I’ve made through the blogging world.
Forgot the other perfect part about K’s post–go leave a comment for her and she’ll donate a book to Connor’s Books! I’m going to second her gesture and add a book to Audrey’s birthday donation for every comment left too!!! Let’s make this year the biggest year yet! Seriously, I’ve been having crazy hits lately–over 100/day but very few comments. Come on lurkers (all you Jenny Scott readers, I see you visit!) or those who haven’t made a shout out lately–say hello and add a book!

Add another book to your tally.
Do I count as a "Jenny Scott reader?" LOL!!
Love you! Thanks for bringing awareness to this great cause. I\’ll check out the other site as well
Jenn – Audrey is an amazing little girl. She is truly a blessing for all of us who
have been involved with CDH. One more book in the memory of my grandson,
Connor…..and to honor the efforts of my daughter, Amanda.

For all of those that have come into my live because of CDH, I am blessed.
Please, each and all of us, help for this wonderful cause.
Here\’s to our little angel above (Connor) and our superstar Audrey and to all the other CDH kiddos and families. I pray for a cure very soon for this birth defect that has affected so many.
Love to all,Natalie
Add another book from the Hawkins crew!
You can add a book for the Ernst family! I do check you site almost daily still! Isn\’t it funny how there are just some CDH cases that strike a chord with you and you want to follow? Your Audrey is so much like Bridgette, it is scary! I love reading your updates – and sometimes lack-there-of. When you started writing less – I rejoiced a little – as it meant in my mind that Audrey was doing so much better! It was when Bridgette turned a corner that I started writing less to my emailers (I didn\’t blog at that time). I\’m so happy to see how well she is doing. She\’s beautiful!
Stacy
One more book!
Jeff
Hi Jenn – Thanks for thinking of Connor\’s Books. It\’s much appreciated!

Give those babies some books!!
Hey Jen, Beth from WI (we are almost thawed out for Spring)
I peak in here about everyday to check up on your wonderful family!
Take care of them! Best wishes from WI…brrr!!
Beth Stuck and family
Seriously, I check almost everyday except I didn\’t have time yesterday!!!!!!!!! Does it still count if your a day late????? I hadn\’t realized that there was an awareness day, but I have the privledge of working with women who have young babies or are expecting and I always inquire and share parts of your story and am always watching for others who may be affected by CDH a little closer to home here to be able to encourage. Did you get my e-mail about the baby in Eau Claire who has CDH? My heart aches over them and their families sufferings. Hope it\’s not to late to add to the book pile, if so I will pay closer attention next year. (It was my "new" nephews birthday yesterday so I will have a mental note to help remember.)Love to you all,Connie
I missed it, but I AM a dedicated lurker.
I\’m guilty of reading updates and all the kids grow up thru the pictures but rarely comment. This is a great idea (even if its copied)
We are very grateful to see all of your posts and keep up on what\’s happening. Thank you for doing so. We\’ll be praying for you and Audrey on Thursday. Special caring thoughts for the whole family with Phoebe ailing…. I know she is a big part of the family too.
Take care and God Bless all of you….. and keep up the posts!!!!
Bette and Ray

Hi There,
I know I\’m late… but would love to help get another book donated!
God Bless all those who have been touched by CDH!
Thanks,
The Windham Family
Not sure if I am too late as well, but I would love to add a book to the pile for Connor\’s book. Such a great idea that you both had:) I am also a CDH mom to sweet little Owen, born 3/6/07. darcyhttp://ittybittyblog.wordpress.com
What a GREAT idea!!
Looks like you have had your hands full lately – stay strong and enjoy the wine!!
Audrey keeps getting cuter every time i see pics!!
Is this a "better late than never" offer? As in, I\’m still thinking I can get my Christmas cards in the mail and not offend people?
If so… please, count me in! Love this! Love to all y\’all, too…
